About Counselling and Psychotherapy
As an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist, I see the client as a unique individual living within a wider context of family, community, society, culture, natural environment, Cosmos - a totality of relationships that in gestalt therapy is called the field.
We each have our struggles and dilemmas, our painful memories and our anxieties about the future and sometimes we can't change a situation, for example past traumatic events in our lives. However, we have the potential to change at least how we deal with them and relate to them, and the meanings we find in them, and it is possible to find new hope and to improve the quality of our life and relationships. Moreover, we have the capacity for positive growth.
